Acorns and The Cha-Cha

Yesterday’s East Bay Lifestyle Family Photography session included collecting acorns (we’re talking a serious and enormous collection here!) and doing The Cha-Cha.

I don’t know what else to say about my session with The D Family other than how happy my heart was when I was driving home.  I felt so much gratitude that I have a job where I get to spend time with such delightful and kind people.  *sigh*

Getting Ready

Little Acorn Caps

Brothers Jatin and Jeeth

The serious expressions, the BxW processing, and the location of where they’re sitting make this photo look like it was taken in the 1950s!

Personalities

Jatin, age 8, stood there quietly as he checked out my lens.

A second later, 6-year old Jeeth ran in front of Jatin to steal the shot!  OMG, so funny.

All You Need Is Love

I posted this on my FB page, but I’ll say it again…

Jatin was showing me the heart-shaped acorn he found, when all of a sudden, out of nowhere, his younger brother Jeeth ran up behind him and hugged him tight!  Awww.

Role Playing and Doing The Cha-Cha

I have a series of these shots and I couldn’t stop laughing when I was looking at them after their shoot.  Are these boys fantastic or what?!!

Hello Gorgeous

I haven’t seen Jyothi and Jai in 3 years.  How do they look younger and even more attractive over the years while the rest of us age?!!

Psst — Jyothi, you’ll need to share your secrets with me later.  😉

The Love Hug

Some hugs are obligatory.  And some are Love Hugs.

This endearing Love Hug that Jeeth surprised his mom with is what made Jyothi smile so wide!

Looking at this photo makes me smile too!
