Rainbow Auras on a Grey Day

You know the kind of person who lights up a room with their smile and gives off a rainbow aura that can be seen glowing on a grey day? Michele (the woman below) is that person to me! What's interesting is their family also wore grey as their coordinating color, but what stood out were the warm colors of their personalities!

I was super excited to see this family since it had been several years that I must have hugged Michele no fewer than 10x and embarrassed the girls (with the help of their parents) with stories of when they were younger, like when I photographed Ellie as a newborn in her 'birthday outfit'. Teens really like hearing those stories! j/k The shoot was a barrel of laughs and even began with Michele playing a joke on me before arriving! (Oh Michele, I'll get you!)

It started to rain at the end -- just in time to hydrate our contacts and mist our faces, clean the roads and paths of life, and bathe the birds and butterflies.
