The Best Medicine

I had all the ingredients for a nice South Bay Lifestyle Family Photography session this morning because it started with a happy baby!

By the Garden

I love the sweetness of their interactions:  mom is holding baby Josie and Josie is looking at and touching dad’s face.

Rolls and Flowers

Are you sure there aren’t rubberbands on Josie’s arm?!!  ;)

The Best Medicine

If it’s true that “laughter is the best medicine”, then this family will never ever get sick.  They are so blessed.

Simplicity

I really love photographing the simple activities of daily life, like putting on shoes and dressing the baby.  Those are storytelling images.

Walking

What is more beautiful than seeing a smiley baby with loving parents AND there is sun flare?!!!  Not much.  (You know I love flare!)

Josie is one happy baby!

    Annie!!!

    These pictures are AMAZING!

I’m not really sure how to express all of the emotions that Freddy and I are feeling right now. I am seriously at a loss for words. We are so happy, so amazed. These pictures… wow. I’m not sure how you captured the feelings that I feel everyday when I play with Josie or when I see Josie with Freddy. The love and happiness we feel from being together as a family, somehow you were able to capture that in photographs. These pictures are amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! We just cannot thank you enough. <3

    • Reading your comment makes me SO HAPPY that I do what I do! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and sentiments with me, Vivian. That just made my day! :)

Years ago, here in Honolulu, Viv was my student in a visual arts course. I always felt a special life force with Viv. Your photos really capture that essence! So, as Uncle Ham gets ready to teach in my 28th year as a high school teacher, your art made my day! Seeing Viv so beautiful and happy as a Mom and a Life-Partner, so glad that you were able to portray such a special lady in such a wonderful time in her life!

    Mahalo!

Uncle Ham! You are the sweetest! I’m so happy that you got to see the “essence” that Annie captured! It’s funny how I try to explain to others the joy my family brings to me, but I can never quite describe it. Annie’s art does just that. Art is amazing that way. Thank you for your sweet comments, Uncle Ham!
